The pneumatic motor is divided into two forms, one way and two ways. The rotation and stop of the motor can be controlled by only opening and closing the intake air inlet of the unidirectional pneumatic motor.

The two-way pneumatic motor has two air intake and one main exhaust port. When the motor enters the intake port from one intake port, the other intake port is the secondary exhaust port. If the motor rotation direction changes, only the exchange port between the intake port and the secondary exhaust port can be changed, so the selected control valve must have the above functions to make the motor work normally. It is recommended to choose three four - way valves or three - position five - way valves. When piping is arranged, the pipeline diameter between the gas source and the gas motor, including pipe fittings, control valves, oil mist sprayer, etc., shall not be less than the minimum inner diameter suitable for the motor, and there is no serious throttling phenomenon for the pipeline. The pipe joint should be firmly, sealed and no leakage, otherwise the pneumatic motor can not reach its working performance.
